01 | Contract
This contract entitles the registered person to unlimited use of the training facilities during opening hours, within the scope of the chosen subscription. Special events and additional services are not included in the membership fee. Membership always lasts 12 months, regardless of whether the payment is annual or monthly. The undersigned confirms that the membership form has been completed truthfully and that the membership terms and conditions have been read and accepted.

02 | Membership card
The member receives a personal, non-transferable membership card. At each training session, the membership card must be scanned at the check-in point without being asked and scanned again upon leaving. Loss of the membership card obligates the member to purchase a replacement card for CHF 15.

03 | Do not use
Failure to use the services offered, nor attendance at the center or school, does not entitle participants to any refund, reduction, or automatic time credit. In the event of training interruptions due to illness or accident, the Chin Woo School (hereinafter referred to as CWU) grants a training break in accordance with the applicable Time-Stop Regulations.

04 | Revisions
The CWU is not obligated to compensate members for any necessary maintenance or cleaning work, or for events caused by force majeure. The CWU reserves the right to adjust opening hours on public holidays and special occasions.

05 | Risk
Use of the facilities and individual sessions is at your own risk. Members agree to use the facilities carefully and properly. CWU disclaims all liability for damages (e.g., due to injury, illness, or loss of property). Mandatory provisions of federal law remain reserved. Members are liable to CWU for all damages they cause to CWU premises and/or facilities. For safety reasons, children are not permitted to use the fitness equipment or be on the training floors. Kung Fu children and teenagers must go directly to the separate changing rooms after checking in and remain quiet throughout the building.

06 | Payment
Membership fees must be paid in advance upon renewal or within 10 days for new memberships. For monthly payments, the initial fee is due immediately. Subsequent monthly payments are due before the start of each new month. Setting up a standing order is recommended. Loyalty bonuses, discounts, and similar offers are at the discretion of CWU. Six to eight weeks prior to contract renewal, CWU will send an invoice with all bank details to the member. Membership cancellations must be submitted in writing (email or post) before the contract expires. No refunds will be issued for early termination. CWU reserves the right to adjust prices due to upgrades or general increases.

07 | House Rules & Time-Stop
The CWU house rules and time-stop regulations are integral parts of this contract. Serious and repeated violations of the house rules or of the instructions of the school management and its staff may result in the termination of membership without refund.

01 | Check-In

Checking in and out with your membership card is mandatory on every visit!

02 | Training wear & personal hygiene

Training is only permitted with clean sports shoes and sportswear. Training barefoot or in open shoes without socks is prohibited for safety and hygiene reasons. The exceptions are Thai boxing and BJJ classes.
We would like to ask all members to train in a clean and considerate manner and to take appropriate measures if they have a strong body odor, out of consideration for other members.

03 | Training behavior & equipment use in fitness

Each member is obliged to return weights, mats, benches and other equipment to their designated places after use.
The safety locks on the barbell bars must be used at all times. Uncontrolled hanging or dropping of weight plates and barbells is prohibited. Barbell bars must be attached to the equipment gently.
To protect the upholstery and for hygienic reasons, a towel (no jackets or sweaters) must always be brought along as a sweat mat or can be rented at the counter for CHF 3.-.
Endurance equipment must be cleaned with disinfectant after each use.
Talking on the phone, listening to music, speaking loudly, or moaning can disturb other trainees. Therefore, the volume should be kept at a tolerable level.

04 | Respectful interaction

We treat each other with respect in our hall. This applies before, during, and after training.
Outside of training hours and our premises, the same respectful treatment and interaction with fellow students and/or teachers applies as on site.
Punches and kicks during partner exercises are adjusted to the level of the opponent.

05 | General

Lockers must be left empty and clean after training. We accept no liability for clothing or valuables.
Children use the separate, designated changing rooms.
Children are not allowed on the equipment or in the training area. We accept no liability for injuries.
The training rooms and wellness area must be vacated 10 minutes before the center closes. The sauna will be switched off 15 minutes before closing (see sauna times).

Serious and repeated violations will lead to exclusion from training and, if necessary, to the revocation of membership without refund. Instructions from staff must always be followed.

01 | Time-Stop Military/Maternity

Involuntary training interruptions due to military service or maternity leave (with a minimum continuous duration of 4 weeks/28 days) can be credited to the current subscription free of charge. This service is only provided upon presentation of medical certificates or marching orders.

02 | Time-Stop for Platinum Members
Each membership year includes a time allowance of 90 days. One or more time-stops of 7 days or more can be requested until the 90 days are reached. The request email must specify an exact start and end date. Any remaining days not entered will be forfeited. The calculated interruption will be added seamlessly to the existing subscription as a time credit. Refunds are not possible. A new 90-day allowance will then be available at the beginning of the next membership year.

03 | Time-Stop in general
Interruptions such as accidents, illness, language courses, etc., can be credited to an existing subscription if they last a minimum of 4 weeks (28 days) but no more than 3 months. This service is only provided upon presentation of proof of absence (confirmation from a language school, flight ticket, hotel bill, ferry ticket, doctor's certificate, etc.). A maximum of two such time-stops can be entered per contract year for a fee of CHF 50.

04 | Procedure
The confirmation documents must be submitted by email before the absence. If they arrive later, we cannot guarantee that the full time can be taken into account. Only the dates in the confirmation documents are relevant for calculating the time-stop period.

A retroactive time-stop is only possible in the event of an accident or illness. In this case, the time-stop must be requested no later than 7 days after the date of the incident, using a medical certificate, marching orders, or similar documentation. Requests submitted later cannot be considered.

05 | Credit and processing fee
The administrative fee is CHF 50 per time stop and is payable to the Chin Woo School. The charged interruption will be added seamlessly to the existing subscription as a time credit. Refunds are not possible.

06 | Decision-making competence
The Chin Woo School has the authority to grant time-stop requests. In cases of misuse, the Chin Woo School Uster reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately and without refund.
