Geri
Geri Gfeller began his journey in Kung Fu in 2000. Initial curiosity quickly turned into enthusiasm – fueled by an intensive study of the basics, stances, steps, and principles that form the foundation of this martial art.
From 2007 onwards, Geri Gfeller himself worked as a trainer on the mat. At the same time, he honed his skills on weekends in regular intensive training sessions with Grandmaster Chow Kok Yeng.
His focus, besides traditional forms, lies on self-defense, particularly on the fighting system developed by Chow Kok Yeng, which combines Poc Khek – a modern variant of Choy Lee Fut – with selected techniques from Wing Chun. Another focus is the holistic culture of Chinese martial arts. He is especially fascinated by the interpretation of classical forms and the rigorous testing of the techniques they convey for their practical applicability within a modern, application-oriented self-defense system.
As a trainer, Geri Gfeller is passionate about enabling his students not only to understand Kung Fu, but also to internalize it physically. Through a combination of precise technique, expression, sparring, fitness, motivation, and focus, everyone develops a solid foundation – not only for their own development in martial arts, but also for their personality and attitude in everyday life.
