Rubén Buonocore

Rubén first entered a Kung Fu hall at the age of 12 and didn't miss the opportunity to challenge his master. And Rubén found his masters at the Chin Woo school.

Even back then, his indomitable will to accept and overcome challenges was evident. From that moment on, he trained regularly in Kung Fu until he finally switched to Muay Thai – a step that rekindled his passion for martial arts and elevated his dedication to a whole new level. For many years now, Muay Thai has been his calling, and he constantly strives to deepen his knowledge and skills.

Rubén is constantly developing his skills, particularly through regular stays at training camps in Thailand, the birthplace of Muay Thai. There, he not only trains under top masters but also immerses himself in the culture and philosophy of the sport, integrating these authentic experiences into his training. These trips are essential for him to bring the best to his own Muay Thai gym and to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in martial arts.

What makes Rubén special is his unwavering will to achieve his goals, combined with exceptional self-discipline and a pursuit of perfection. He makes no compromises when it comes to improving himself and his students. His uncompromising dedication to his own progress and that of his students makes him a unique coach. With a deep understanding of his students' individual needs and strengths, he succeeds in taking everyone to the next level. He readily shares his extensive knowledge and lives by the motto: "Where there's a will, there's a way." This motto has not only helped him through the most challenging times but also inspires everyone who trains with him to reach their full potential.

His focus is always on effectiveness and continuous improvement. Rubén himself remains a student of the sport, ever hungry to learn more and bring his best to the gym. He embodies the principle of lifelong learning, constantly developing his skills and refining his abilities. It's not just technique that counts, but also the mental strength and discipline he instills in his students. Under his watchful eye, everyone develops the ability to surpass themselves and master the life lessons of Muay Thai.

In his lessons, the principle is: "Acta non verba" – actions speak louder than words. Rubén demands dedication and commitment from his students, always leading by example. His leadership is not just a matter of words, but rather of action.
